This meeting will have a lecture format with question and answer blocks on SEO, content marketing and organic traffic from Google. Participants will learn about topics such as:
- The basics of how Google works as a search engine (30 minutes)
- How Google understands keywords
- How it guesses user intent
- How links affect page positions
- How Google decides whether to trust a page
- SEO and on-page content
- Basic mistakes in deciding what content to create (45 minutes)
- Writing about what we want and not what we should be writing about
- Relying on data about how things are, rather than how they should be
- Ignoring the basics of how Google works
- Creating content that has no business relevance
- Best practice (45 minutes)
- Analysing potential keywords and topics
- Creating content that has a chance of success …and have business relevance
After the workshop, the MoreGrowth team will be on the hunt for young talents and those interested will be able to take part in the recruitment part of the meeting. Interested participants will be given a recruitment assignment to complete after the workshop, and in return each person can expect a full round of editorial and feedback within a few days of returning the assignment.
