What is the deadline for the application?
For international candidates, the admissions deadline is September 8, 2025.
Due to the time-consuming visa procedures resulting from the number of candidates interested in studying in Poland, we strongly encourage candidates from South Asia, MENA, and African countries to apply no later than August 18, 2025.
For Polish residents or foreigners, who have been granted a residence permit to settle in Poland (Karta pobytu) the admissions deadline is September 22, 2025.

How long should I wait for the official decision after I submit my documents?
Within 2 weeks, from the day we receive the complete application package, you will receive information concerning the outcome of your application through Civitas University online admission platform. Then you will be invited for an admissions interview. Please note, that in some circumstances the assessment can take longer than 2 weeks.
Where can I find the official decision regarding acceptance?
The official decision will be posted at the admissions portal, on your individual account admissions.civitas.edu.pl
What is the list of the requirements for candidates applying for Bachelor (first-cycle degree) studies?
- Create an account and fill in the form on our website admissions.civitas.edu.pl
- Copy of a secondary school leaving certificate with a copy of a secondary school transcript with a grading scale. A transcript is an official written document which lists and certifies previous school achievements and explains the grading system applied.
- Sworn translation of your secondary school leaving certificate into Polish or English
- Apostille/Legalization (If needed) of the original Secondary School Leaving certificate and transcript. For further details please contact: admissions@civitas.edu.pl
- Official confirmation concerning your eligibility to apply for Bachelor’s programs. (not applicable in case of the documents issued in EU, OECD, EFTA, and countries, that have signed the bilateral agreements with the Ministry of Education of Poland). - English proficiency certificate

Does Civitas University require ZNO examinations results from candidates from Ukraine?
Due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, we currently do not require ZNO or NMT exams.

How can I get my acceptance letter for visa application?
After you receive a decision regarding your acceptance, you will be asked to sign University-Student agreement and pay the Tuition Fee. As soon as the Tuition Fee payment is registered on our account, the scanned copies of the acceptance letter will be uploaded to your individual account at the admissions portal.
What are the next steps after I get accepted?
- Pay the tuition fee and sign the Student University Agreement
- Receive of the official Acceptance Letter
- Arrival in Warsaw. Once in Warsaw, please bring the originals of your application documents. Do not forget to bring all originals of the documents to the Admissions Office. Should you fail to do so, you will not be allowed to begin your studies.

Can international students pay the Tuition Fee in installments?
The Student shall pay the Fees in the following mode: in instalments, as a semester fee or as a single payment for the entire year. All international students applying for a visa or a Polish Residence Card should pay at least the first-semester Tuition Fee.
How can I book a place in the dormitory?
Civitas University does not offer campus accommodation but finding a suitable place to live in Warsaw is not a problem. When it comes to accommodation in Warsaw, there are several options to consider, depending on your lifestyle, personal requirements and financial situation.

When can I collect my Student ID Card?
Student ID card will be issued after October 3rd, after the candidate completes all admissions requirements (i.e., after submitting the original documents, and confirmation of payment of the Tuition Fee).
Can I upload my photos in any size?
No, you have to upload a passport-size photo

I made a mistake while filling in the Application Form. What should I do?
When you log in to your personal account at the admission platform you can correct any mistake yourself.
However, if you are unable to do so, please contact the Admissions Office at admissions@civitas.edu.pl

What languages of instruction are available at Civitas University?
We offer studies in English and Polish, as well as bilingual (Polish-English programs). Due to the Russian invasion, candidates from Ukraine have the possibility to join the program, where the first year is conducted fully in Ukrainian. The remaining two years are conducted in Polish.
Candidates joining this program will be attending the intensive Polish language courses during the first year of studies and will be required to pass the interview in order to be able to continue their studies after the first year.
