Economist and political scientist, deputy head of the Department of International Relations, head of the specialization “International Development Cooperation”, adjunct professor at Collegium Civitas. During 1990s, member of the Council for Property Transformations affiliated at the Prime Minister of Poland. Coordinator of international projects (financed i.a. by UNDP, UNCTAD, UNIDO, Aga Khan Development Network) and consulting expert to the programs of reforms in the countries undergoing system transformation (Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgistan, Tajikistan, Ukraine, Georgia, Bulgaria). 1990-2004 adjunct professor at the Institute for Political Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Performs research of international economic relations, various aspects of globalization, international cooperation for development, negotiations, foreign policy of Russia. Author of more than a hundred of books, publications, research papers and articles.
