Michal’s main scientific interests are comparison of corporate governance models worldwide and sustainable strategic management.
Michal graduated from Foreign Trade Faculty at Warsaw School of Economics, where he also completed his PhD studies. His dissertation covered the area of corporate governance in Poland in the context of the convergence of different corporate governance models in various regions of the world. He also completed postgraduate studies at Stockholm School of Economics (managerial skills) and Kozminski University in Warsaw (ESG).
Michal currently gives classes in strategic management at University of Warsaw and in global corporate governance at Collegium Civitas in Warsaw.
He has over 20 years of experience as a manager in the area of international sales and marketing in numerous multinational and Polish companies and has over 10 years of experience as a non-executive director on boards of listed and non-listed companies.
Michal is an active member of the Association of Listed Companies, the Association of Independent Non-Executive Directors and the Chapter Zero Poland initiative.
In his free time, he enjoys his collection of ancient and ethnic string instruments from different parts of the world and is also interested in gardening.
