Roslina Sawitri, M.Ed. is an Indonesian University of Education master of English Education graduate, class of 2012.
Lived in Japan from 2014 to 2016 to study English Teaching Methodology at Hyogo University of Teacher Education under the prestigious Monbukagakusho scholarship. Roslina served as a postgraduate fellow at a prominent Ivy League school, Yale University, the United States of America in 2017, teaching the Indonesian language for Foreign Speakers (BIPA).
She has been teaching English at Bandung Institute of Technology Human Resource Development Unit for over a decade. She has given lectures, spoken at seminars as well as led several ToTs, both national and in the international levels. Ms. Sawitri also teaches Business English at General Achmad Yani University Bandung since 2020.
She began her employment at Parahyangan Catholic University in 2017 teaching English at the Faculty of Political Sciences and a year later started teaching BIPA for Darmasiswa and Kemitraan Negara Berkembang (KNB) scholarship awardees. Roslina takes part in writing anthologies on digital tools for online learning, as well as completed a non-degree program from Iowa State University, USA, on Using Educational Technology in English Classrooms in 2020. At the same year, she finished writing a handbook under Asia-Europe Foundation ClassNet School Collaborations and actively gives public lectures in several universities in Indonesia throughout the year.
In 2023, she teaches Indonesian language at the Indonesian Embassy of Copenhagen, Denmark, and the Indonesian Embassy of Warsaw, Poland. For this year’s winter semester, she is appointed to serve as a guest lecturer at Collegium Civitas, Poland, also holding Indonesian Language course.
