Anna Szyjkowska-Piotrowska, PhD (1981) – philosopher of culture and linguist with main interest in theories of art (visual arts and music) and philosophy of politics. Author and translator of numerous articles and co-author of books devoted to the intersection of art and culture (published among others in: Art Inquiry. Recherche sur les Arts, ArtTak, Sztuka i filozofia, Estetyka i Krytka). Associate Professor at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music, Chair of Humanities. Has cooperated with Collegium Civitas, Warsaw University, Zbigniew Raszewski Theatre Institute, Museum of Modern Art Warsaw, Museum of Art Łódź, Centre for Contemporary Art Ujazdowski Castle. Her book Po-twarz (Post-face) on human identity in contemporary culture is about to be published this year. In her spare time, she likes meeting her friends, reading and cooking Asian food.
