Bartłomiej Walczak, PhD, sociologist, cultural anthropologist. He works at the University of Warsaw and Jagiellonian University in Cracov. A member of expert panel on the consequences of labour immigration  and re-emigration for the Ombudsman for Citizen Rights. Expert opinions and reports for the Ministry of Education, The Ombudsman for Children, Centre for Education Development, OECD, National Centre for Culture, ministry of Culture and Heritage,  FRSE (EU program “Youth in Action”), MultiKulturni Center (Czech Republic), Batory Foundation, Centre of International Relationships,  Public Education Evaluation Commission (Saudi Arabia), local welfare institutions, districts administrations. Leader and participant of many research and evaluation projects, usually responsible for sample design, quantitative methodology and analysis, but also conducting IDIs and FGIs. Author and coauthor for over 50 scholarly publication on migration, education and methodology of social sciences.
