On Tuesday 30 June, Collegium Civitas organized a “Chinese Seminar”. Our guests included experts on Central Europe: Prof. Shang Yuhong from Shanghai University of International Business and Economics; and Prof. Kong Tianping, director of the Chinese Academy of Sciences’ Institute of European Studies at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.

The entire event was held in English. Guests, China experts, think tank specialists and other scholars participated in a special panel discussion. Subjects of debate comprised:

·         The Silk Road 2.0

·         Sino-Polish relations

·         The Polish-China regional forum in Łódź

·         The “16+1” (China-CEE cooperation) format

·         China and Central Europe
Radosław Pyffel – Polish journalist, publicist, sociologist and president of the Centre for Poland-Asia Studies – acted as moderator.
