From July 12 to 16, 2025, the 28th World Congress of Political Science was held in Seoul, South Korea, organized by the International Political Science Association (IPSA) under the theme Resisting Autocratization in Polarized Societies. We are proud to share that Prof. Jens Boysen, lecturer at Civitas University and member of the international research committee RC24: Armed Forces and Society, was among the participants.

Prof. Boysen took part in the RC 24.12 panel titled Building Democratic Resilience in Armed Forces and Societies, held on July 14. In his presentation, Preparing for War: Mental Adaptation Processes in Polish Society in the Face of the Ukrainian-Russian War, he discussed the psychological and social mechanisms shaping public attitudes in Poland in response to the threat of war and ongoing conflict across the eastern border.
The congress provided not only a platform to present research findings but also a valuable opportunity for international exchange in the fields of democracy, security, and civil society.
