Dr. Katarzyna Maniszewska, Vice-Rector for International Relations at Collegium Civitas will take part in the works of the EU Knowledge Hub on Prevention of Radicalisation. This European Union initiative aims to strengthen efforts to prevent radicalization leading to terrorism. Dr. Maniszewska will participate in the work of the panel “Global and Geopolitical Factors and Undesirable Foreign Influences”. The thematic scope of the panel is directly related to the area of Dr. Maniszewska’s research interests. In 2025, Collegium Civitas Press published her book “Radicalization at High Speed. Terrorism and the Media in the Age of Artificial Intelligence”, in which she puts attention not only to terrorist organizations but also state sponsors of terrorism and radicalization.

Dr. Maniszewska has been associated with Collegium Civitas for over 10 years, serving as a lecturer and expert at the Terrorism Research Center, and, since 2018, as Vice-Rector for International Relations.

The EU Knowledge Hub on Prevention of Radicalisation brings together practitioners, policymakers and researchers working on prevention across Europe and in priority third countries. The creation of the Hub is outlined in the EU Counter-Terrorism Agenda 2020. The EU Knowledge Hub supports the development and implementation of policies and strategies based on shared knowledge and expertise. It fosters collaboration among stakeholders to address the challenges of radicalisation, emphasising an integrated, policy-driven approach and a whole-of-society perspective.
