This new university course is based on an original curriculum, which takes into account current world trends in the education of future managers. The first classes in the course will begin in the 2016-2017 academic year. The subject will offer, in particular, dedicated modules for HR, PR and CSR professionals.
Since Collegium Civitas has placed great emphasis on cooperation with business from its very foundation, it has prepared this course with the needs and opinions of employers in mind, resulting in graduates who have both the knowledge and practical skills relevant to the labour market.
We will teach the fundamentals of business to our students so that they can understand how all company departments function, which will later facilitate their work on all levels of management including strategic management in corporations.
We offer an extensive training programme for soft skills such as communication, teamwork, negotiation, multicultural challenges and management of change.
Most of the activities will be carried out in a workshop environment allowing the student to gain practical skills and develop their ability to work in a team. As part of the course, one semester will consist of a company placement during which the student will pursue a project that will simultaneously form the basis of their BA thesis.
Collegium Civitas cooperates with many companies in which our students will be able to do internships and placements, notably: Nestle Polska, Coca Cola Poland Services, Volkswagen Bank Polska, Telewizja Polska S.A., Citibank International Limited, PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A., Deutsche Bank Polska, Polskie Linie Lotnicze LOT, KPMG, HAYS Polska, Lionbridge Technologies.
