This bachelor’s degree programme, is taught fully in English and offers a unique and research-oriented study opportunity designed to provide you with in-depth knowledge of the cultures, politics, societies and economies of the ‘Anglosphere’.

Do you want to improve your English language skills and also get to know the cultures, politics and business environments of the ‘Anglosphere’? The English Studies specialisation in International Relations addresses these needs.

We offer a unique research-oriented study programme designed to provide you with in-depth knowledge of the cultures, politics, societies and economies of the core English-speaking countries: the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Ireland, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Moreover, we will equip you with the linguistic skills necessary to work in an international environment. The courses give an overview of the main social, political and historical processes that shape the ‘Anglosphere’. You will study with diplomacy practitioners, advisers of international institutions, researchers and experts in various fields of international relations from Poland, the UK and Canada specialising in English-speaking countries. All courses are taught in English.

The required level of English language proficiency is IELTS 6.5 (B2 according to the CEFR scale) as well as successfully passing an admission interview – via Skype or in person.
