We would like to kindly remind you that the Zoon Politikon journal is currently accepting submissions for its upcoming issue dedicated to the theme: “Disinformation in the Digital Age: Challenges, Dynamics, Countermeasures.”
The journal Zoon Politikon explores key phenomena shaping contemporary societies from sociological, political science, philosophical, and cultural studies perspectives. Rooted in the Aristotelian tradition of reflecting on social and public life, the journal maintains an interdisciplinary character, embracing diverse academic fields and analytical approaches to collective life and modern communities.
We welcome both theoretical and empirical contributions in sociology, political science, and international relations. Shorter formats such as commentaries, polemics, and reviews are also invited. Doctoral candidates are encouraged to submit their work for the Debuts section.
Submissions can address, among others:
- Mechanisms and drivers of disinformation (fake news, deepfakes, post-truth, propaganda)
- Societal, political, and economic impacts of disinformation
- The role of social media in the spread of disinformation
- Strategies, tools, and policies to counter disinformation
- Legal and ethical dimensions of combating disinformation
