On March 27-29th, the representatives of universities supporting social innovations participated in The Knowledge Fairs that took place in Warsaw. The Collegium Civitas and Ashoka – Innovators for the Public, invited the representatives of universities from Lithuania, Austria, Italy, Great Britain, Ukraine and Iceland as well as the representatives of NGOs, public administration, business incubators and accelerators and social innovators.

  • Can a social entrepreneur own Ferrari?

  • Is it possible that the universities respond quicker and more accurate to the labor market needs?

These and other questions were raised by the participants. Participants together with the support of the  professional facilitators were looking for the answers and shared their ideas and solutions.

The Knowledge Fairs were also present on the Wolves Summit, one of the most renowned start-up events in Central Europe. During dedicated session, the concept of Social Innovation was introduced to innovators, investors and researchers. During the PITCH, selected innovators: Łąka, Gojiland and Dom Pokoju, had a chance to present their projects to the audience and their project attracted a lot of attention.
