Brussels Summer School for Young Leaders ‚EU as a Global Actor‘

Global Learning offers up two ’15th EU Accession Anniversary Scholarships’ for outstanding BA, MA and PhD students, who are currently enrolled at Collegium Civitas
in Warsaw, Poland, which will allow them to participate in the high-level policy forum – Brussels Summer School for Young Leaders: ‘EU as a Global Actor’. As a leading Summer School held in the ‘Capital of Europe’, the one-week program aims to immerse the participants into the theory and practice of EU policymaking with a special focus on the ‘EU as a Global Actor’. Through a series of lectures, debates, workshops and study trips to different EU institutions, the Brussels Summer School for Young Leaders provides the participants with a policy-maker’s ‘insider’ perspective into how the European Union and its leaders deal with the closely interlinked key contemporary security, economic and political challenges facing the block. The lectures and discussions are conducted by senior EU policymakers and diplomats, top NATO officials and leading academic experts.

Benefits of the Scholarship: The Scholarship is awarded as a tuition fee waiver worth 240 Euros – thus, the recipients will only have to pay the ‘application/registration fee’ (150 Euros) instead of the standard tuition fee (390 Euros). The Scholarship does not cover the travel to/from Brussels (as low as 50-100 Euros), the accommodation (5 nights for as low as 100
Euros) and personal expenses. Conditions of the Scholarship:

1. Be a full-time student enrolled at Collegium Civitas

2. Have a solid command of English, 3. Have an outstanding academic performance at the university.
