Event Date: 2018-05-08

Can migration be made safer? How can we take care of the citizens of Europe and immigrants from different parts of the world? How can we communicate migration-related matters in order to avoid problematic situations?

The Collegium Civitas Cultural Security Studio and Fulda University in Germany are inviting students to take part in international migration workshops that will take place on 8 May 2018 at the university venue in the Palace of Culture and Science.

The international workshop will be an opportunity to discuss an important and current topic regarding the migration of people—as it is broadly understood—and to learn about different points of view. The workshops’ language of instruction is English.

During the workshops, participants from Germany and Italy along with Polish students will work on finding solutions in the field of security, European Union policy, radicalization and the role of the media.

The meeting will start with guest speeches that will take place between 9 and 10 am. The remaining part of the workshop will be devoted to group work and subsequent presentation of conclusions, and will finish by 3 pm.

Registration is open until 15 April 2018.
