Model European Union Warsaw 2018 will be hosted at Collegium Civitas. The event takes place on 23-28 August. MEU is a simulation of the decision making and legislative process in the EU,  where the participants play roles of Ministers, Members of the European Parliament or journalists. The two topics discussed in the ordinary legislative procedure at MEU Warsaw 2018 are: proposal on a pan-European Personal Pension Product (PEPP) and proposal concerning measures to ensure a high common level of network and information security across the Union.

Participants in MEU will get the opportunity to experience how the representative democracy works in the EU. Members of the Parliament will have to find a balance between the interests of their home country and their respective party, members of the Council will look for alliances and the journalists will have to tackle everything that is concerned with the release of a newspaper and will learn about the role of the media in general.
