International Volunteers’ Day at Collegium Civitas

On December 5 at 1 PM join us for a meeting with Dariusz Sirko, a graduate of Collegium Civitas, ambassador of the European Solidarity Corps and an author of the unique book "Pocket History of Poland"! The meeting (held in English) takes place in room 1222 (12th floor). The main topic of the event will be the opportunities offered by the participation in the European Voluntary Service.

Civitas Movie

You are warmly invited to participate in the first film meeting “Civitas Movie” 21 November at 17.00, (Lecture hall A). The meeting will be about "American History X", directed by Tony Kaye (1998). The screening will be preceded by a brief introduction to the issues raised in the film, which will then be discussed in detail after the film (introduction and discussion will be held in Polish).

Indonesian language at Collegium Civitas

Did you know that you can enroll in Indonesian language classes at Collegium Civitas? The classes are held every Tuesday at 11.30 a.m. at Collegium Civitas and are led by an Indonesian teacher invited to Poland by the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia.

Independence Day

Please kindly note that November 11 is a public holiday in Poland - Independence Day. There are no classes on Monday, November 11 and our University is closed. And, do you know why we celebrate our Independence on November, 11? On that day in 1918 Poland regained its independence after 123 years of partitioning by Russia, Prussia and Austria.

International Students Talent Show

Warsaw University of Technology is looking for foreign students of Warsaw universities, full of unique ideas and ready to show their talents. The International Students Talent Show is organized under the auspices of the International Festival of Warsaw. Its goal is to promote various cultures and to encourage foreign students to undertake non-scientific activities. Collegium Civitas students are also cordially invited to participate!

Please, kindly note that November 1 is a public holiday in Poland - All Saints’ Day. Thus, there are no classes on Friday, November 1.

New Pew Research Center Report

Democracy and Inclusivity: Youth and Inclusive Digital Democracy

The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia invites students to participate in a competition “Democracy and Inclusivity: Youth and Inclusive Digital Democracy”. The winner will be invited to the Bali Democracy Students Conference in December. The Adam Mickiewicz Institute cordially invites you to take part in the third Digital Cultures conference, to be held on 26 and 27 September 2019 at Kino Iluzjon in Warsaw. Call for Applications. Opportunity for Collegium Civitas Students

The Georgian Institute for Strategic Studies in cooperation with Collegium Civitas, with funding from Black Sea Trust is implementing an educational programme entitled: "TRASC 2 - Europe – What Next? Transformational Leadership and Confidence Building for Young Professionals". The programme will take place in October in Tbilisi.  All costs related to participation (travel, accommodation, meals etc.) will be covered by the organizers.

International Security Studies Scholarship

Collegium Civitas invites candidates from all over the world to apply for the unique Master’s degree program “International Security Studies” (ISS). We are happy to announce that there are 2 places with covered tuition available for candidates from Central Asia (former USSR countries). ISS is designed to train future leaders in the field of security, who will be prepared to effectively face the ever changing security challenges in the interconnected world of today.

Concilium Civitas

Concilium Civitas is a group of social sciences professors from Poland, working at foreign universities. On July 9th and 10th they will meet for the first time in Warsaw to discuss core phenomena and global trends of major significance for Poland and in Poland. The symposium is hosted by the Faculty of New Media and Journalism at Collegium Civitas.
