The Centre for Poland-Asia Studies (CSPA) at Collegium Civitas and the publisher PWN are inviting you to the launch of the exceptional biography of Aung San Suu Kyi, entitled Pani Birmy. Biografia polityczna Aung San Suu Kyi [The Lady of Burma. A Political Biography of Aung San Suu Kyi] by the author Dr Michał Lubina.

The launch of The Lady of Burma will be combined with a discussion on the subject of the parliamentary elections that will take place the day before in Burma.

This event will be held  on 9 November 2015 in Lecture Theatre A  [Aula A] at Collegium Civitas, in Warsaw’s Palace of Culture and Science, at 1 Defilad Sq, at 6pm.

The following people will take part in the discussion about the book and the upcoming Burmese elections:  Bogdan Góralczyk from Warsaw University, former ambassador for the Republic of Poland in Burma/Republic of the Union of Myanmar and author of the monograph Złota ziemia roni łzy [The Golden Land Sheds Tears]; and Dr Michał Lubina, author of the aforementioned book, CSPA expert and lecturer at the Jagiellonian University’s Institute of Middle and Far East Studies.

The moderator will be Radosław Pyffel, President of the CSPA.

It is worth adding that the book has not yet appeared on the market, but given the popularity of all the books by our expert, we have decided to meet the expectations from many of you and are therefore beginning to take orders from all those who would like to sign up to purchase Michał Lubina’s new book with a dedication from the author.
