V National Congress is the Information Analysts conference, whose aim is to bring together experts in the field of analysis of information, both in terms of methodological reflection on this area, as well as in the context of the practical application of information analysis and research products. The fifth edition of this event, which formed part of the annual plan of many practitioners and theorists analysis of information, will be devoted to the analysis of information in the age of information battle.

The organizers of the Congress are:

Terrorism Research Centre at Collegium Civitas – research institute operating in a non-public higher education, conducts research related to terrorism in terms of the analysis of both the nature of the threats of terrorism, as well as methods to combat these threats and counter them.

Institute of Information Analysis Collegium Civitas – the only one in the country, a unique project, which aims to extensive training in the profession analyst information.

The basic idea, guiding the organization of the next edition of the Congress is to create a platform for the exchange of experiences and good practices in the field of information analysis and the development of analytical methodology. This idea is mainly due to the need to identify the mastery over the surrounding information, which is one of the most important strategic resources for states and operators. In the face of a potential lack of tools for the collection, structuring, processing and distribution, it can become a resource useless – or used in only a minimal extent.

NOTE: The Congress will be away analytical workshops and a banquet to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the Institute of Information Analysis CC (21-22 March 2015., Palace Ossolińskich, Sterdyń).
