Where do you as a young Professional or University Student see yourself in the future? Where do you fit in the Polish economy? Join us and we will discuss in an engaging format what does it mean to be part of the Polish international economy. We will explore the importance of perspective – how we view things and how others view us.
Magda Pavlak-Chiaradia is the Managing Director of an international consultancy firm in Warsaw. After being educated and spending most of her professional career in the United States, she returned to Poland in 2011. Her return to Poland was prompted by an opportunity to assist a former employer in the integration of two Polish acquisitions into a singular running US engineering company. This required culturally shifting the Polish companies and implementing many US-based approaches to clients, project management practices and staff development. Her successful integration resulted in her promotion to Country Manager and President of the Management Board.
In additional to her professional achievements, Magda has been on several advisory boards for nonprofits and believes in being an engaged citizen. Currently she is on the Board of Directors at the Polish-American Fulbright Commission and a member and mentor of Vital Voices Poland. Magda is the founder and coordinator of the 30Under30 program through the American Chamber of Poland where she develops and trains young aspiring professionals working for US member companies.
