During the meeting we are going to discuss the 2019 European Parliament Elections, where you will be presented with an opportunity to hold a discussion on elections with invited European organisations’ representatives and also with renowned experts such as prof. Lena Kolarska-Bobińska, dr Kerry Longhurst, Jan Chromiec, prof. Agnieszka Cianciara and Róża Rzeplińska
The main aim of the debate is to mutually discuss and conceive ideas on effective ways to motivate European residents to actively engage in matters related to EU; stimulate and increase the participation of younger generation in EU elections and also discuss the role of non-governmental institutions in the election process.
One of the subjects is also going to concentrate on the influence of Internet, which is considered as a key tool supporting the successful functioning of advanced democracy. During the final part of the debate we are going to present our new online platform dedicated to the 2019 European Parliament Elections – YourVoteMatters.eu, which is available for visitors in multiple languages.
