Civitas University and SentiOne launch strategic partnership on AI-driven analysis of public debate

Civitas University and the Polish technology company SentiOne have established a strategic partnership that brings together advanced AI and social listening tools with the intellectual resources of a dynamic academic community.
The initiative begins with a joint project analyzing the 2025 presidential campaign online, but both institutions have declared their commitment to long-term collaboration in education, research, and public knowledge-sharing.
A new standard in public discourse
As part of the project “Who Will Win the 2025 Election?”, SentiOne has partnered with experts from Civitas University and SECNewgate CEE to produce regular reports based on the analysis of online data, including candidate visibility, message reach, tone of discourse, discussion sources, and key policy topics.
A unique feature of these reports is the inclusion of expert commentary from Civitas University scholars. These insights are published alongside the data on the social media channels of both institutions and personal profiles of the researchers, combining technological precision with academic depth. This collaboration helps to better understand public sentiment and the influence of digital communication on political processes.
Technology meets responsibility
“Collecting the right data is an art, but this is not enough. Interpretation and storytelling are just as important. Artificial intelligence plays a role, but for a comprehensive approach to something as complex as political sentiment, we need expert insight, critical thinking, and above all, social responsibility. That’s what Civitas University brings to this partnership,” said Jan Kołątaj, Country Manager at SentiOne.
More than a project – a long-term vision
Although the election analysis is the first joint initiative, SentiOne and Civitas University have committed to at least one year of structured cooperation starting May 14, 2025. Planned activities include:
- Joint academic publications based on SentiOne’s data;
- Workshops and seminars for students on media monitoring, AI, and data analysis;
- Educational access to SentiOne tools for Civitas University students;
- In-depth qualitative research by Civitas faculty based on real-time data;
- Media appearances, including podcasts, interviews, and webinars with experts from both institutions.
SentiOne has also committed to opening its data sources to Civitas University researchers for academic and research purposes. Both sides have agreed to uphold the highest quality and ethical standards in all public communication activities.
Civic-minded technology in action
Civitas University is firmly committed to educating socially engaged leaders and promoting active citizenship. The university emphasizes the integration of theory with practice and supports initiatives that serve the public good.
“Our university is a place of dialogue, openness, and engagement. This collaboration with SentiOne shows that science and business can speak the same language. We are proud that our experts and students will be part of such an important initiative.”
said Prof. Paweł Matuszewski from Civitas University.
A new model of academic–industry collaboration
This partnership represents a modern, results-oriented collaboration model between academia and the tech industry. Both institutions believe that sharing knowledge and combining strengths is essential in addressing today’s challenges—from education and innovation to building an informed, responsible digital society. This is more than cooperation, it’s a shared effort to shape the future of communication, research, and social impact.
