We are pleased to announce that Civitas University has signed a new Inter-Institutional Agreement (IIA) with Lagos State University (LASU) in Nigeria, further expanding our academic cooperation under the Erasmus+ programme.

The agreement opens new opportunities for student and staff mobility between both institutions and reflects Civitas University’s commitment to strengthening international academic partnerships.

Lagos State University (LASU), established in 1983, is a leading public university situated in Ojo, Lagos State. With its vision of advancing learning and academic excellence, LASU operates across three campuses and offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in fields such as arts, education, law, management, social sciences, engineering, and medicine.

The agreement was officially signed by Dr. Katarzyna Maniszewska, Vice-Rector for International Relations at Civitas University, and Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, Vice Chancellor of LASU.

We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to Dr. Omoye Mary Akhagba, lecturer at Civitas University, for her continued support in developing our cooperation with Nigerian universities. One of the alumni of the Faculty of Communication and Media Studies at LASU—and a former Graduate Assistant at the Department of Public Relations and Advertising—Dr. Akhagba now serves as an academic staff member at Civitas University in Warsaw, Poland. Her engagement and expertise play a key role in fostering strong and sustainable academic ties.

We look forward to fruitful collaboration and the exchange of knowledge, ideas, and perspectives between our communities.
