Collegium Civitas signs MoU with University of Economics and Business – Vietnam National University

In July 2020 Collegium Civitas and University of Economics and Business – Vietnam National University signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Academic and Research Collaboration. The MoU paves the way to joint initiatives such as double degree program, trainings and research collaboration.
The Memorandum outlines the scope of the future collaboration that includes: exchange opportunities for students, staff and faculty members, development and promotion of research collaboration, the development of double degree program and training programs, such as short term study abroad programs as well as organization of joint symposia and scientific conferences and other academic meetings on matters of mutual interest.
VNU University of Economics and Business (VNU-UEB), a member of Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU), was established on 6th March 2007. Originating from the Faculty of Political Economy, University of Hanoi, UEB has undergone several historical transformation periods.
Important historical milestones:
- November 1974: Political Economy Faculty – University of Hanoi.
- September 1995: Faculty of Economics – University of Social Science and Humanities – Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
- July 1999: Faculty of Economics – Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
- March 2007: University of Economics and Business – Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
During its development process, VNU-UEB has made constant efforts to improve the quality of training, scientific research and other services in order to become a research-oriented university and excel at training high-quality human resource in fields of economics, management and business administration. UEB has been known as a young and dynamic university with a strategic vision and strong determination towards international standards. The University’s position and prestige have been gradually strengthened. UEB has initially achieved several successes in training and research creating a solid foundation for further development towards efficiency and quality.
Collegium Civitas is a modern non-state University founded in 1997 by a joint initiative of Professors from the Polish Academy of Sciences. The quality of education in all fields of study is confirmed by positive assessments by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the Polish Accreditation Committee. Collegium Civitas holds top positions in the national rankings of Universities in Poland and offers academic programs in English, Polish and bilingual Polish-English in the four main fields: International Relations, Sociology, Management and Journalism and New Media, among them over 20 master’s and bachelor’s degree programs in English. With a large number of lecturers from renowned universities, students from over 50 countries, numerous projects with universities from around the world and a wide range of studies in English, Collegium Civitas is a leader in the field of internationalization. The University has over 100 agreements with partner universities from around the world. With the MoU signed with VNU-UEB Collegium Civitas further strengthens its international outlook.
