Dr. Maniszewska to take part in the Conference on International Science Cooperation in Brussels

We are pleased to share that Dr. Katarzyna Maniszewska, Vice-Rector for International Relations at Civitas University, has been invited by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) to participate in the upcoming conference “Transnational Science Cooperation: Fostering Collaborative Research in Europe and Poland”, taking place in Brussels on June 23–24, 2025.
Organized under the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union, this two-day event will bring together researchers, policy-makers, and institutional leaders to examine the evolving landscape of international scientific collaboration, with a special focus on Poland’s increasing engagement in the European research ecosystem.
On June 23, Dr. Maniszewska will moderate the High-Level Policy Panel titled “Connecting National Strategies with ERA Priorities: Strengthening International Academic Cooperation and Supporting Emerging Talent.”

The discussion will explore how Poland can align its national research strategies with the priorities of the European Research Area (ERA), support early-career researchers, and strengthen its role within international academic cooperation. Topics will include mobility programs, inclusive grant schemes, institutional synergies, and strategic policy frameworks aimed at fostering a vibrant, cohesive, and competitive European research landscape.
