
Dr. Paulina Piasecka was appointed Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs at Collegium Civitas. Dr. Piasecka is an expert in higher education and security studies; she previously served as Deputy Chair of the International Relations Department at our university.
We extend our sincere appreciation to Dr. Dr. Roland Zarzycki for his dedicated service at Collegium Civitas. His invaluable contributions have been pivotal in advancing our institution’s academic mission and shaping the educational programs to always strive for the highest quality. We are deeply grateful for his commitment and expertise as Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs (2016-2024).
Dr. Paulina Piasecka is an expert in the area of hybrid warfare and asymmetric threats. She is also interested in cybersecurity and information warfare. Dr. Piasecka is the Director of the Terrorism Research Center and co-designed the master’s degree program in International Security Studies. She is a former senior expert in the Counterterrorism unit of the Ministry of Interior and Administration of the Republic of Poland and head of the unit for Non-Military Security (Department of Legal and Non-Military Affairs) at the National Security Bureau, Poland. Dr. Piasecka was a participant in the US State Department’s “International Visitor Leadership Program” in the area of cybersecurity. She is a co-author and editor of publications on cybersecurity, information analysis, and international terrorism and counterterrorism.
