Dr. Vanessa Tinker, lecturer at Collegium Civitas, participated as a distinguished panelist in the opening session of the 10th General Assembly of the Global Public Diplomacy Network (GPDNet), held from February 25 to 27 at the Katara Public Diplomacy Center in Doha, Qatar. The event, themed “Public Diplomacy Next: New Trends and New Threats,” brought together representatives from 21 countries to explore the evolving landscape of global public diplomacy.

In the opening session, Dr. Tinker addressed the role of Artificial Intelligence in Public Diplomacy, highlighting its potential as a tool for engaging in conflict-sensitive environments. Her insights contributed to discussions on how AI can enhance diplomatic efforts and cross-cultural communication in an increasingly complex global landscape.

Throughout the General Assembly, Dr. Tinker participated in panel discussions, workshops, and cultural activities, engaging with international experts on emerging trends and challenges in public diplomacy. The event served as a platform for strategic dialogue, policy discussions, and collaborative initiatives, reinforcing GPDNet’s role as a non-political, inclusive network of 28 national-level institutions across five continents.

Dr. Tinker’s participation emphasized the significance of technological advancements in diplomacy, fostering international cooperation, and exploring innovative solutions to global challenges.
