Collegium Civitas: all classes on-line

"Provision of good quality education to our students remains our absolute priority. I am pleased to say that we have met the challenge of having all our lecturers trained and that we launched our on-line teaching, including language courses. This means more than 500 classes for our Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes and about 200 postgraduate classes" said the Rector of Collegium Civitas, Professor Stanisław Mocek. Collegium Civitas and our on-line teaching was presented in the academic newsletter of the Polish magazine “Perspektywy”. Suspension of classes at Collegium Civitas

In regard to the incoming information related with the COVID 19 outbreak and for your safety a decision has been made at Collegium Civitas to suspend all classes, lectures and open events starting on Wednesday, March 11 till March 25.

Announcement concerning health risk prevention

Due to the epidemic of SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus the World Health Organisation has declared a global public health emergency. The College of Rectors of Collegium Civitas has made a decision to suspend until further notice all travel of its staff and students to the countries indicated in the communication of the Chief Sanitary Inspectorate. Students who have visited within the last 14 days one of the following countries: China, Iran, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, Vietnam and Italy are advised to stay home for 14 days from the date of their return. Any absence in class due to the travel will be excused (based on the travel documentation).

Ethical guidelines for journalists by Collegium Civitas students

Collegium Civitas students - participants in the course “Terrorism and the Media” prepared the proposal of ethical guidelines for journalists reporting on terrorism. 40 students from different countries (among them: Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, USA, Ukraine, France, Spain, Germany, Poland, Nigeria, India, Turkey) participated in the seminar. Security and Society in the Information Age. Vol. 2

The book “Security and Society in the Information Age. Vol. 2” has just been published. The book features contributions by American students – participants in the Summer School and the internship program at the Terrorism Research Center (TRC) at Collegium Civitas. The Program “Security and Society in the Information Age”, composed of summer school courses and semester or academic year study abroad opportunities, aims at presenting global topics from the unique perspective of Central and Eastern Europe. The participants are also given the opportunity to embark on an internship at the Terrorism Research Center.
