Between 9 and 12 September 2025, representatives of Civitas University’s International Relations Office — Maciej Krzyczkowski, Head of Department, and Piotr Czarnota, Erasmus+ and International Exchange Coordinator — took part in the annual conference of the European Association for International Education (EAIE) held in Gothenburg, Sweden.
This year’s EAIE Conference brought together over 7,000 participants from more than 100 countries, making it the largest and most influential event dedicated to the internationalization of higher education in Europe. The program combined plenary sessions, expert workshops, and B2B networking meetings, offering higher education professionals a space to exchange knowledge, share best practices, and explore new opportunities for collaboration.

For Civitas University, the conference was a valuable platform to strengthen ties with existing partner institutions and to establish promising new collaborations. Our representatives held a series of meetings focusing on Erasmus+ cooperation, student and staff mobility, as well as the development of innovative joint initiatives that will support both the academic community and future-oriented research projects.

It is worth noting that Civitas University was among the few Polish private universities represented at this prestigious event — a fact that underscores our strong commitment to advancing international cooperation and ensuring that our students and faculty remain actively engaged in global dialogues on the future of higher education.

We look forward to building on the outcomes of the EAIE Conference in Gothenburg and to turning these new initiatives into long-lasting collaborations that will benefit our students, faculty, and international partners alike.
