Civitas University students are invited to join the launch webinar of the 2025 Magna Charta Observatory Essay Competition, open to students from all universities worldwide. This international competition encourages students to reflect on how universities can better engage with stakeholders to improve access to higher education and enhance the student learning experience.

The webinar will feature the official announcement of the competition’s theme and guidelines, insights from 2024 winner Hellena Leão from Brazil, and a discussion with Peter Kwasi Kodjie (All-Africa Students Union) and David Lock (Magna Charta Observatory).

Winning students will receive funded travel and participation in one of two major international events: the Magna Charta Observatory Conference in London or the World Access to Higher Education Conference in South Africa.
