Gender, Security and Development

The National Defence Institute, Portugal and the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) organise on 23 March, between 15:00 and 18:00 (GMT), the international online conference “Gender, Security and Development. Revisiting the Nexus in Turbulent Times”.​​ We cordially invite Collegium Civitas students and faculty to participate in the conference.

Erasmus+ Call for Applications

Would you like to study at one of our Erasmus+ Partner Universities in the winter semester of 2022/23? Apply for a scholarship under the Erasmus+ program. Successful applicants will receive an Erasmus+ monthly scholarship. Application deadline: March 15, 2022

Russian Invasion of Ukraine - Online Q&A for Collegium Civitas Students

The Collegium Civitas Buddy Program in cooperation with the International Relations Department invites Collegium Civitas students to a webinar "Russian Invasion of Ukraine - Online Q&A for Collegium Civitas Students". The event will be held on MS Teams on Thursday 10th March from 18:30-20:00 CET.

Adaptation Days

We are glad to inform you that the adaptation days are about to start! During the meetings, you will have the opportunity to meet the University's Rector's Team, talk to the representatives of the Career Center, Welcome Point, Erasmus + Program coordinator, and people cooperating within student organizations and initiatives. The event starts on March 1.

Registration to courses

Registration to courses opens on February 14. We encourage our Students to register as soon as possible. The registration deadline is February 20.

Peace building in post-conflict areas: women rights, security

Students of the specialization: Social Psychology in the Risk Society and The RISK Scientific Circle invite you to participate in the online seminar "Peace building in post-conflict areas: women rights, security". The meeting will be held online on the MS Teams platform on February 17, from 6 PM to 7 PM CET.

Admission deadline

The admission for the spring semester 2021/2022 to our study programmes in English has just started! Study at Collegium Civitas and experience the highest quality of teaching in a multicultural learning community in the very heart of Warsaw! For international candidates the admissions deadline is February 4.

Politics and International Relations Research Seminars

New series of research seminars at Collegium Civitas is held Thursdays at 13.15 CET between November 4 and January 13.  The topics are diverse and all highly topical, of relevance to Poland, Europe and wider global issues. Collegium Civitas students (especially master’s degree students) and faculty are invited to participate in the seminars!

Culture Day – winter edition

On Tuesday, 11.01.2022 at 7:00 p.m. CET we would like to kindly invite you to the winter edition of Culture Day, an event that aims to present and celebrate the diversity and multiculturalism of the Collegium Civitas community.

Union Is Strength - competition for young journalists

Union Is Strength is a new competition for young journalists. We encourage Collegium Civitas students to take part in the project. Each winning team will receive an award of 1500 euros. Application deadline is December 20, 2021.

Lessons from Weimer and Crisis of the 21st Century Democracy

On December 13 the Institute of Sociology, Collegium Civitas organizes an online lecture by Professor Eric Kurlander from Stetson University. The seminar will be devoted to his research on the Role of “Political Romanticism” in Explaining the Crisis of 21st Century Democracy. Prof. Kurlander is a renowned American historian, visiting Collegium Civitas under the Fulbright Global Scholar program.

Women and State-building in Afghanistan

Students of the specialization Social Psychology in the Risk Society and The RISK Scientific Circle invite all interested students and faculty to the online seminar "Knowledge at Risk: Women and State-building in Afghanistan". The meeting will be held on December 1, from 6 PM to 7 PM CET.

Supernatural History of the Third Reich

On November 22 (Monday) at 4.30 PM CET  Collegium Civitas organizes an online lecture by Professor Eric Kurlander from Stetson University. The online meeting will be devoted to his book “Hitler's Monsters. A Supernatural History of the Third Reich, 1919-1945”. Prof. Kurlander is a renowned American historian, at Stetson he teaches courses on modern German, European and world history. The Professor is visiting Collegium Civitas under the Fulbright Global Scholar program.

Football sessions

The first football training session for Collegium Civitas students will take place on November 20 (Saturday) at 3 PM as part of the activities of the Academic Sports Association. We invite all interested students to participate!

Conference "UN Security Council: Is it worth being a non-permanent member?"

Collegium Civitas, in partnership with the Swiss Embassy in Poland, is pleased to invite you to the conference "UN Security Council: Is it worth being a non-permanent member?", which will take place online on November 19 from 3.00 PM to 6.00 PM CET.

Transatlantic Workshop

On behalf of organizers, we cordially invite you to take part in the IV edition of the international scientific seminar on transatlantic issues!Transatlantic Workshop is a seminar on the European Union and the United States of America relationship. Currently, we are mainly concerned with the question of whether Europe together with the US is able to create and strengthen mutual economic and commercial relations in difficult and turbulent post-pandemic times.
