17th Forum of Non-Public Universities

The Rector of Collegium Civitas, Prof. Stanisław Mocek, and the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, Dr. Paweł Maranowski, participated in the 17th Forum of Non-Public Universities, which took place in early April in Warsaw.

This year’s event, organized by the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology and SWPS University, focused, among others, on critical aspects of the operation of student governments at private universities in Poland.

During the four-day meeting (April 4-7, 2024), members of student governments from all over Poland had the opportunity to participate in numerous training courses that expanded their knowledge and promoted integration.

On the first day, participants took part in a debate on financing student activities. Prof. Stanisław Mocek, who also serves as the Chairman of the Conference of  Rectors of Non-Public Academic Schools (KRAUN)  led the debate.

On the same day, training in the art of oratory, stress management, leadership, and team building was also held, and it was tailored to the interests of the participants.

The forum’s highlight was the Grand Prix Awards Gala of the Student Community of Non-Public Universities, during which the achievements and commitment of students and universities in various fields were honored. During the event, speakers included Dr. Paweł Maranowski, Vice-Rector for Student Affairs of Collegium Civitas.
