In December 2023, Collegium Civitas signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Philippine Public Safety College (PPSC). PCSS is a higher education institution for law enforcement and public officers; it comprises the National Police College, the National Police Training Institute, the National Fire Training Institute, the National Jail Management and Penology Training Institute, and the National Forensic Science Training Institute.

The MoU sets goals for collaboration, including the exchange of students and faculty and joint research and training projects. It was signed during the visit to Manila by Dr. Katarzyna Maniszewska, Vice-Rector for International Relations.

“We are happy and proud to be the first Polish institution to partner with PCSS. Collegium Civitas is known for its strong focus on security and international relations. The partnership is a win-win and highlights the enhanced collaboration between Poland and the Philippines – countries that celebrated 2023, the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations” – says Dr. Maniszewska. “I hope that the prospective joint projects will also translate into increased visibility of Collegium Civitas and the Polish academia in the Philippines,” – adds Dr. Maniszewska.
