We are excited to announce another milestone in Collegium Civitas’s pursuit of global engagement and academic excellence. Demonstrating our commitment to expanding international cooperation, we have recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Federal University of ABC (UFABC) in Brazil.
The Federal University of ABC is situated in the vibrant ABC Region, renowned as an industrial hub within Greater São Paulo. Since its establishment in 2005, UFABC has consistently expanded its academic offerings and physical infrastructure, currently providing a diverse range of undergraduate and graduate programs.
UFABC’s commitment to excellence has earned recognition on the global stage through various international rankings. Particularly noteworthy is its achievement of securing the top position among Brazilian institutions in the inaugural edition of the Times Higher Education University Impact Rankings in 2019.
The newly signed Memorandum of Understanding between Collegium Civitas and UFABC signifies a significant step towards fostering deeper collaboration and exchange between our institutions. Key areas of cooperation outlined in the MoU include:

• exchange programs: facilitating the exchange of students, faculty members, and administrative staff to promote cross-cultural learning and collaboration.
• administrative, scientific, and research cooperation: encouraging joint research projects, academic conferences, and other collaborative initiatives to advance knowledge and innovation.
• sharing of institutional information: exchanging insights and best practices related to institutional processes, including pedagogical and social projects.
• participation in academic activities: engaging in lectures, academic meetings, courses, and international cultural exchange activities to promote academic dialogue and understanding.

This MoU reflects our shared commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and internationalization. Through collaborative efforts, we aim to enrich the academic experiences of our respective communities and contribute to global knowledge exchange and understanding. As we embark on this collaborative journey with UFABC, we eagerly anticipate the opportunities it will bring for our students, faculty, and staff.
