COLLEGIUM CIVITAS LECTURERS AWARDED IN GRAND PRESS 2023

We are delighted to share the exciting news that the lecturers from Collegium Civitas have been recognized in the prestigious Grand Press 2023 competition – Agnieszka Szwajgier, Wojciech Brzeziński and Janusz Schwertner were acknowledged by the jury for their outstanding contributions.

The Grand Press 2023 award in the Audio Report category went to Dorota Salus and Agnieszka Szwajgier from Radio 357, for their captivating series, “Kryptoscam” (Crypto scam). In the Interview category, Jacek Harłukowicz and Janusz Schwertner from Onet received the prize for their article “Katarzyna Kotula: Prezes PZT to seksualny predator. Krzywdził mnie, gdy byłam dzieckiem”. (Katarzyna Kotula: the President of Polish Tennis Association is a sexual predator. He harmed me when I was a child).

The Grand Press awards were granted by the jury composed of: Andrzej Andrysiak (Gazeta Radomszczańska, Local Newspapers Association), Bogusław Chrabota (Rzeczpospolita), Jerzy Domański (Przegląd), Magda Jethon (Radio Nowy Świat), David McQuaid (U.S. correspondent in Poland), Edward Miszczak (Telewizja Polsat), Mateusz Sosnowski (TVN24), Anna Śmigulec (Wirtualna Polska), Marek Twaróg (Presserwis), Michel Viatteau (Agence France-Presse), and Jacek Żakowski (the first Journalist of the Year, Polityka).

Additionally, the Grand Press Digital and Technology Award went to Agata Kaźmierska and Wojciech Brzeziński from Tygodnik Powszechny. This decision was made by a jury composed of Marcin Bartnicki (Wirtualna Polska), Beata Biel (TVN Warner Bros. Discovery, Konkret24) and Marek Twaróg (Presserwis).
