Dr. Marek Troszyński’s research cooperation with the Department of Media and Communications at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) is a continuation of the international project Migrants. Analysis of media discourse on migrants in Poland, the United Kingdom, Ukraine, Albania and the Czech Republic (MAD), carried out from 2018 to 2022 under the leadership of Dr. Troszyński, and in particular a research trip to the Polish-Ukrainian border in April 2022.

Its result is a paper with the working title Uprooting and borders: the digital architecture of the Ukrainian refugee crisis, which Prof. Myria Georgiou of the Department of Media and Communications with Dr. Troszyńki submitted to the LSE Public Policy Review.

In April and May of this year, during his fellowship in the Department of Media and Communications, Dr. Troszyński conducted consultations with students in 3 areas:
• media coverage of the war in Ukraine,
• Central European media,
• media representations of migration.

Dr. Troszyński will continue his cooperation with the Department of Media and Communications at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) as a Visiting Senior Fellow until May 2024.
