On March 18, 2023, an educational fair was held, co-organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Buenos Aires, which gathered student candidates and their parents.

The next point of the mission agenda was meetings and educational fairs in Brazil, in Curitiba, which took place on March 20. Why was Curitiba chosen? The city is the main center of the Polish community in Brazil. Around 400 thousand people of Polish heritage live there. Many residents with Polish roots call it the “Chicago of South America”.

The meeting, co-organized by the Consulate of the Republic of Poland in Curitiba, was opened by the Consul General of the Republic of Poland, Marta Olkowska. At the meeting, Collegium Civitas had the opportunity to present an educational offer for the academic year 2023/2024. The event gathered about 200 people interested in studying in Poland.

Also, the delegation of Collegium Civitas attended the Salao do Estudante fair, one of Latin America’s most important educational fairs. The organizers estimate that about 600 student candidates visited the fair. It was an opportunity to meet with the academic community from around the world. “At the fair, we met one of the Collegium Civitas lecturers who, based on her own experience, could share her opinion about our University with young people. It has an excellent reputation.” – Ilona Głowacka said.
