On June 14, 2024, two significant academic events of Collegium Civitas took place at the Dom Polonii in Warsaw – the Graduation Ceremony and the 2023/2024 Academic Year Closing Ceremony.

Graduation Ceremony

Graduates of Collegium Civitas, dressed in gowns and caps, gathered to participate in one of the most important events of their academic lives.

Ms. Kateryna Hashuta, a graduate of the International Relations program at Collegium Civitas, hosted the event. She emphasized the importance of the support provided by family, lecturers, supervisors, and members of the Rector’s Team throughout the entire study period. In the official part of the ceremony, Professor Stanisław Mocek, Rector of Collegium Civitas, and Dr. Paweł Maranowski, Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, congratulated the graduates on their achievements.

The highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of congratulatory letters. Graduates who completed their studies with honors were recognized first, receiving a special letter from the Rector and the Vice-Rector. The ceremony concluded with a group photo and the traditional tossing of caps, followed by a toast with a symbolic glass of champagne.

2023/2024 Academic Year Closing Ceremony

Later in the evening, the 2023/2024 Academic Year Closing Ceremony was held in the Gardens of the Dom Polonii, attended by undergraduate and graduate students, participants of postgraduate studies, and the University of the Third Age, members of the Rector’s Team, as well as academic and administrative staff.

The ceremony was once again hosted by our graduate Kateryna Hashuta. Professor Stanisław Mocek, Rector of Collegium Civitas, summarized the past academic year, and Dr. Paweł Maranowski, Vice-Rector for Student Affairs wished everyone success in the upcoming examination session. The official part of the event was followed by artistic performances by Collegium Civitas students. Musical pieces and dances performed by our talented students showcased the diversity of our community. After the performances, there was time for celebration, reminiscing, and planning for the future.

We wish all graduates of Collegium Civitas the best of luck as they leave the university ready to face new personal and professional challenges. We also wish  our students success in the examination session.
