Since April 2021, an international team of researchers from universities in Poland, Greece, the United Kingdom, and Italy has been working on the ADVICE project. The project aims to develop an open platform called the Digital Competence Learning Hub, dedicated to enhancing the digital skills of academic teachers. We are thrilled to announce that the service is now accessible at: https://advicehub.civitas.edu.pl/

Digital Competence Learning Hub, the primary outcome of the ADVICE project, offers two powerful tools:

Competence Self-Assessment Tool (CAT): academic teachers can pinpoint and enhance their digital skills through a user-friendly self-assessment.

Online Resource Database (OReD): a dynamic catalogue filled with educational tools to amplify digital capabilities.

This platform empowers higher education teachers, providing personalized courses and webinars based on individual assessments. Additionally, the project unveils impactful recommendations for stakeholders, decision-makers, and students, fostering more inclusive online education.

Another outcome of the ADVICE project is Recommendations for Stakeholders and Decision-Makers. These recommendations emphasize building the capacity of higher education systems for more inclusive online education. Based on qualitative research conducted by the ADVICE project consortium, these recommendations provide valuable insights into the international arena. You may explore the recommendations in PDF format on the project’s website.

The Advancing Digital Competence in Higher Education (ADVICE) project, led by Professor Krzysztof Kasianiuk, was carried out by an international consortium formed by Collegium Civitas (project leader), Sapienza University of Rome, University of Northampton, and the Agricultural University of Athens. The project was funded under the Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership program.
