At Collegium Civitas, we are proud of our lecturers and graduates who play vital roles in the public, political, and social life of Poland and actively shape the future of our country. Among them are newly elected Members of the Polish Parliament, Ministers, and renowned journalists.

At Collegium Civitas, we have always believed that education can transform society and that every student has the potential to become a leader of change. Our educational programs, conducted by outstanding specialists and practitioners, are designed to shape future leaders ready to face the challenges of the modern world.

Our lecturers and graduates are not only experts in their fields. They are, above all, people who, with their knowledge, passion, and commitment, constantly contribute to the development of society, shaping its future on many levels.

Examples of such people we can proudly call members of our community include:

  • Dr. Joanna Mucha (lecturer at the Department of Journalism and New Media of Collegium Civitas, MP of the party Polska 2050, Secretary of State at the Ministry of National Education, from 2011-2013 she also served as Minister of Sport and Tourism), through her work for the socio-economic development of Poland, she shows how deep knowledge and commitment can translate into specific actions at the highest level of state administration;
  • Aleksandra Wiśniewska (MP of the Civic Coalition, from next semester, she will join the faculty of the Journalism and New Media Department at Collegium Civitas) is also an active participant in the international political arena, where her involvement in refugee issues has gained wider recognition. Her contribution to the education of future journalists and new media experts at Collegium Civitas perfectly combines practical knowledge with genuine involvement in shaping the future of the media and society.
  • Aleksandra Gajewska (graduate of International Relations at Collegium Civitas, MP, Civic Coalition, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Policy), her contribution to the development of Poland’s social policy shows how important it is to have thorough knowledge and experience in translating academic theory into specific actions and reforms;
  • Agnieszka Buczyńska (graduate of sociology at Collegium Civitas, MP, Polska 2050, Minister for Civil Society, chairperson of the Public Benefit Committee), whose activities for civil society perfectly reflect the values of our University, emphasizing the role of education in building strong foundations for social activity and responsibility;
  • Dr. Władysław Teofil Bartoszewski (affiliated with the Władysław Bartoszewski Chair at Collegium Civitas, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, MP of the party PSL) not only continues his Father’s diplomatic and intellectual legacy but also introduces a new perspective in shaping Poland’s foreign policy. His actions reflect values deeply rooted in Collegium Civitas’s mission.
  • Dr. Rafał Trzaskowski (Mayor of Warsaw and Vice-Chairman of the Civic Platform, previously a Member of the European Parliament, Minister of Administration and Digitization), as a long-time lecturer at Collegium Civitas, shares with our students not only knowledge, but also his extensive experience, inspiring the young generation to actively participate in the public life.
  • Dr. Marek Prawda (lecturer at Collegium Civitas, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, previously held the positions of Director of the Representation of the European Commission in Poland and Ambassador of the Republic of Poland in Sweden and Germany), whose career in diplomacy and politics shows that Collegium Civitas is a place where critical skills for international cooperation and sustainable development are developed;
  • Jacek Kozłowski (lecturer at Collegium Civitas, currently Vice-President of the Supreme Audit Office, previously he was, among others, Vice-Marshal of the Masovian Voivodeship and Voivode of Masovia) – his work is proof that education at Collegium Civitas provides the tools necessary for effective and fair management in the public sector;
  • Hubert Różyk (graduate of International Relations at Collegium Civitas and lecturer at Collegium Civitas, currently serves as Spokesman of the Ministry of Climate and Environment) has over ten years of experience in communication, has been associated with green NGOs for years, which shows how various functions can be performed after studying at Collegium Civitas;
  • Editors and journalists Edwin Bendyk, Robert Bogdański, Barbara Hrybacz, Roman Kurkiewicz, Agnieszka Lichnerowicz, Karolina Lewicka, Marcin Łukawski, Wojciech Maziarski, Mateusz Mazzini, Karolina Opolska, Wojciech Orliński, Konrad Piasecki, Tomasz Reich, Grzegorz Rzeczkowski, Grzegorz Sroczyński, Rafał Woś, Jacek Żakowski (lecturers at Collegium Civitas), Michał Tomasik, and Radomir Wit (graduates of our University), who show every day that responsible work in the media, the public administration, and the Parliament is the foundation of a transparent and fair state.

As emphasized by the Rector of the University, Prof. Stanisław Mocek, “We are convinced that our work contributes to building a strong, open, and conscious society. At Collegium Civitas, we focus on developing social competencies, critical thinking, and an international perspective, which are necessary in a dynamically changing world. Our educational and research activities address the current social and economic challenges.”
