Meeting with an academic delegation from Marmara University

On November 22 Collegium Civitas hosted a delegation of academics representing Marmara University (Marmara Üniversitesi), Istanbul, Türkiye. The meeting was an opportunity to strengthen academic cooperation and relations in regard to the field of teaching and research as well as student and faculty exchange under the Erasmus+ programme.

Marmara University, founded in 1883, is one of the leading institutions in Türkiye, with more than 81.000 students, 16 faculties and 11 campuses located on both European and Asian sides of Istanbul.
Marmara University is an international and contemporary university with a multilingual education (provides education in 5 different languages) that creates value in science, culture, arts and sports for all its stakeholders by prioritizing social values ​​with its deep-rooted experience and aims at sustainability with the importance it attaches to lifelong learning.

The Marmara University delegation was led by Prof. Nuri Tinaz, director of the Office for International Relations and Academic Cooperation and Prof. Fehmi Yilmaz.

Collegium Civitas was represented by Dr. Katarzyna Maniszewska, the Vice-Rector for International Relations and Mr. Maciej Krzyczkowski, the Head of the International Office.
