We are pleased to announce the latest publication by Professor Paweł Dobrowolski, a lecturer at Collegium Civitas, historian, researcher, diplomat, and Head of the Department of International Relations at Collegium Civitas.

The book, titled „Nierównym krokiem. Globalizacja i Europa wielu prędkości (1500–1800)/ Uneven Stride: Globalization and Europe of Varied Speeds (1500–1800),” is worth exploring for several reasons. As Professor Michał Kopczyński notes in the review, it is “arguably the first attempt in Polish literature in recent decades to describe the early modern world in terms that we commonly associate with the present.” The author’s linguistic proficiency also merits special attention, transforming the monograph into a captivating narrative rather than a typical history textbook.
