Prof. Nowicka-Rusek visits EUA in Yerevan

In September 2023, Prof. Ewa Nowicka-Rusek visited the European University of Armenia in Yerevan within the EU-funded Erasmus+ programme.

Prof. Nowicka-Rusek held a series of lectures on  following topics: Polish geography, history, social structure and educational system;  ethnic structure of contemporary Poland – national and ethnic minorities in Poland and regional differentiation of the country;  Armenians in Poland: history and recent times differentiation – decedents of old migrants (legally functioning Armenian national minority in Poland) and economic migrants from independent Armenia.

“As I am researching specific situation of Armenians in Poland, I have found lots of important field information and interest on the side of Armenian educational institution for cooperation in future.” – explains Prof. Nowicka-Rusek. In addition, during the visit Prof. Nowicka-Rusek met with faculty members and the EUA administration and discussed future collaboration opportunities.
