We are pleased to announce that on June 10, 2024, during the report and election meeting of the Conference of Rectors of Academic Non-Public Universities (KRAUN), Prof. Stanisław Mocek, Rector of Collegium Civitas, was unanimously re-elected as Chair of KRAUN for the 2024-2028 term.

Prof. Zdzisława Dacko-Pikiewicz, Rector of the WSB Academy, will continue to serve as Vice-Chair of KRAUN.

KRAUN brings together the top non-public universities in the country and aims to inspire and represent their common interests. The Chair of KRAUN also serves as a member and representative of non-public universities on the Presidium of the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland (KRASP).

Professor Stanisław Mocek, a sociologist, political scientist, and media expert, has been serving as Rector of Collegium Civitas since 2012. From 1990 to 2014, he worked at the Institute of Political Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences (ISP PAN) and is currently a member of the ISP PAN Scientific Council. His research focuses on Polish political scenes, media, electoral processes, political discourse, and civil society.
