The field of sociology (second-cycle studies) at Collegium Civitas won the first place in the latest ELA ranking (Polish Graduate Tracking System), published at https://ela.nauka.gov.pl. First degree studies in the field of sociology were also on the podium, taking 3rd place.
The ELA ranking is a significant and reliable system for monitoring the economic situation of graduates of Polish universities on the labor market, which provides objective information about their professional situation after graduation. In the study, taking into account various indicators, Sociology at Collegium Civitas achieved the highest score, which means that our graduates achieve excellent results on the labor market. This also proves their high competences, knowledge and skills, which are valued by employers in various industries.
This result confirms the high quality of education, but above all – it proves the success of our graduates on the labor market.
Dr. Xymena Bukowska, Head of the Department of Sociology at Collegium Civitas, emphasized that the University’s success in the ELA ranking is proof of the commitment of the entire faculty team to ensuring high quality teaching and creating an inspiring academic atmosphere, conducive to the intellectual and social development of students.
It is also worth noting that in the latest ELA ranking, a high 2nd position was achieved by the field of international relations at Collegium Civitas. This is another confirmation of the excellent level of teaching and comprehensive preparation of students to work in a global environment, where understanding international relations is extremely important.
The ranking also includes the fields of Journalism and New Media as well as Management. This is proof that the educational offer of Collegium Civitas is appropriately adapted to market requirements. The University’s commitment to developing the potential of the students has been rewarded with successes in the ELA ranking for several years. It would not be possible without the thriving Academic Career Office, which is responsible for supporting students and graduates on the labor market – including assistance in creating application documents, conducting information and promotional campaigns, internal workshops, job fairs / exchanges, meetings, webinars, events on the labor market or promoting employers among students and graduates.
