The Winter School “Transforming 21st Century Conflicts” offers a full week of intensive online learning, focused on the issue of promoting secure and inclusive societies through the adoption of innovative perspectives and tools. The project is organized by the University of Padua within the framework of “Shaping a World-Class University”.

The project will take place in the last week of February 2023 (Monday-Saturday 9:30-12:30/15:00-18:00) and is free for the students.

Collegium Civitas is one of the partner universities of the University of Padua and one of our lecturers- dr. Katarzyna Anna Przybyła is a member of the scientific committee as well as a lecturer.

The program introduces students to perspectives such as restorative justice and conflict transformation and to critical and innovative instruments for enhancing restorative, responsive, and transformative approaches to interpersonal conflict, which is a key factor for reflecting on topics such as active citizenship, democratic professionalism, or participatory democracy and on the instruments that can help in the task of matching the issues of security with the ones connected to inclusivity and to the promotion of peaceful communities.
