We invite submissions for the upcoming issue of Zoon Politikon, dedicated to the theme “Disinformation in the Digital Age: Challenges, Dynamics, Countermeasures.”

The journal Zoon Politikon explores key phenomena shaping contemporary societies from sociological, political science, philosophical, and cultural studies perspectives. Rooted in the Aristotelian tradition of reflecting on social and public life, the journal maintains an interdisciplinary character, embracing diverse academic fields and analytical approaches to collective life and modern communities.

We welcome submissions on topics within sociology, political science, and international relations. Both theoretical and empirical articles are considered, along with shorter contributions such as polemics, commentaries, and reviews. Doctoral candidates are also encouraged to submit their work for publication in the Debuts section.

For this issue, we seek papers that address key dimensions of disinformation, including:

• Mechanisms and causes behind the spread of fake news, deepfakes, propaganda, and post-truth narratives
• The impact of disinformation on society, politics, and the economy
• The role of social media in the creation and amplification of disinformation
• Tools and strategies for counteracting disinformation
• Legal and ethical challenges in combating disinformation

Submissions are accepted in Polish or English and should be sent to the editorial team at zoonpolitikon@civitas.edu.pl by May 5, 2025.
