The sixth volume of the academic book series “Security and Society in the Information Age” has just been published. The volume brings together a series of research papers by participants in the Security and Society in the Information Age program held at Collegium Civitas.

We are proud to announce the publication of a significant academic contribution by our faculty member, Professor Ewa Nowicka-Rusek, in collaboration with Professor Maciej Witkowski from WSB University. The paper, titled "Exploring Roma Ethnic Identity: The Role of the Romani Language in Poland", has been Published in the renowned Liverpool University Press.

We invite you to read the latest article authored by Dr. Michał Szostak, Head of the Institute for Management Research at Collegium Civitas. The paper, titled "Reflexivity in Aesthetic Situation Management", has been published in the recent issue of the academic journal "Discourses on Culture".

Dr. Agnieszka Nitza-Makowska, a lecturer at Collegium Civitas, recently participated in the ISA - GSCIS 2023 conference, titled "The Global South in International Organizations and Beyond: Transformation, Influence, and Empowerment in an Evolving World Politics," held in Bangkok, Thailand.

In December 2023, Collegium Civitas signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Philippine Public Safety College (PPSC). The MoU sets goals for collaboration, including the exchange of students and faculty and joint research and training projects. It was signed during the visit to Manila by Dr. Katarzyna Maniszewska, Vice-Rector for International Relations.  

On the 14th of December 2023, Ms. Małgorzata Kostecka, the Erasmus+ Coordinator, representative of the International Cooperation and Promotion Office and Ms. Kinga Boćkowska, a student at Collegium Civitas, had the honour of meeting with Colonel Frank Ennen, the German Defense Attaché.

Dr Roland Pac, Collegium Civitas lecturer from the Management Department, recently concluded a successful visit to Vietnam under the Erasmus+ program. Dr Pac conducted lectures at VNU University of Economics and Business in Hanoi and participated in a panel discussion at the Vietnam-EU Economic Forum 2023.

We are happy to announce that the Digital Competence Learning Hub is now accessible! Developed by an international team of researchers from Poland, Greece, the UK, and Italy since April 2021, this ADVICE project focuses on enhancing the digital skills of academic teachers.
