Students took an oath, and speeches were delivered by the Mayor of Warsaw, Rafał Trzaskowski, and the Rector of Collegium Civitas, Prof. Stanisław Mocek. Distinguished scientists, lecturers, students, and alumni were also recognized and received awards.
